Social networks will sometimes block accounts due to the frequency of posting, or the duplication of content. Comity is designed to comply with policies enforced by social networks. We're keen to promote an environment of authentic sharing in which we avoid spamming as much as we can.
Each social network has their own guidelines on how much content to post. We recommend not posting more than 5 posts per day to a social network. In case you need to post more for day, here are upper limits social networks allow without negatively impacting the reach of your posts:
- Facebook 25
- Instagram 100
- Twitter 730
- LinkedIn 50
- Pinterest 100
- Mastodon 700 (may vary in each instance)
Our systems may suspend your account if excessive activity detected that exceeds these limits or frequently get closer to the upper limits.
Please also note that:
- these limits are per 24 hour period, rather than per calendar day.
- these limits don't affect the number of posts you can store in your queue at any one time.
